Head of Partnerships

About the role
The Head of Partnerships will play a key role in uncovering and capturing new growth opportunities for Plentify.

The Head of Partnerships will contribute in the following areas:

  • Strategic research: Conduct market and customer research to identify key trends and customer needs to help Plentify prioritize new growth opportunities
  • Analytical modeling: Build data-driven models to calculate value potential from new products, channels, customers and / or geographies
  • Forging relationships: Identify and form relationships with important stakeholders and individuals to enable Plentify’s growth and enhance our impact
  • Partnership agreements: Translate high level partnership goals into tangible contracts and agreements, by developing joint goals, defining responsibilities, negotiating commercial terms, and setting up appropriate governance
  • Plentify ambassador: Represent Plentify at key industry, customer and partner events. Able to articulate our vision, strategy, product and goals to senior stakeholders

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience, and may include equity in Plentify. In addition, Plentify also offers several progressive benefits like unlimited vacation, regular mandatory leave and monthly self-care stipends.

Required skills and qualifications


  • Minimum of 4 years work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a BD and/or partnerships related role
  • Strong academic background (e.g. top 10% of your qualifying class) in a STEM or business-related field
  • Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and business judgment
  • Superb communication, both oral and written
  • Ability to manage concurrent and time sensitive projects
  • Ability to listen well, contribute to creative business discussions, influence the thinking of and gain acceptance from senior executive
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time management
  • Self-starter and delivers through to execution
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Willing to contribute outside of core responsibilities


  • Experience in top tier management consulting and / or tech startup
  • Relevant sectoral (e.g. IoT, energy, cleantech or insurtech) experience
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
